What is one thing that I can learn from you today?

At a
seminar, a famous speaker didn’t say a single opening remark, but held a $20
bill in his hand. Facing 200 people in the conference room, he asked, “who
wants the 20 dollars?” One hand was raised. He went on to say, “I’m
going to give this 20 dollars to one of you, but before that, please allow me
to do one thing.” He said, crumpled the bill into a ball and then asked,
“who wants it?” There are still hands up. He added, “well, what
if I did that?” He threw the money on the ground, stepped on another foot
and ran it over with his foot. Then he picked up the notes, which were dirty
and wrinkled. “Who wants it now?” There are still hands up.

“My
friends, you have already had a meaningful lesson. No matter how I treat that
bill, you still want it because it doesn’t depreciate, it’s still worth $20. On
the road of life, we will be knocked down, bullied and even crushed to pieces
by our own decisions or adversities. We feel like we’re worthless. But no matter
what happens, or what will happen, you will never lose value in the eyes of
God. In his eyes, dirty or clean, neat or untidy, you are still priceless

The
value of life does not depend on what we do or the people we make friends with,
but depends on us! We are unique – never forget that!
