in other places, and I return to my hometown about once a year. And every time
I go back, I will face all kinds of questions from my relatives. I really hate
this. It seems that your life is exposed in front of all people. Beauty and any
privacy can be said. Finally, I will say that we are all for you. Here are the
questions my relatives ask me and what I want to say to them.
don’t you get married when you’re so old?
what does it have to do with you? Please take care of your children first.
what’s your job? What’s your annual salary?
what does it have to do with you? The salary must be higher than you.
do girls read so many books?
because I don’t want to be as ignorant as your daughter.
do you watch your cell phone all day long?
has nothing to do with you, because I don’t want to talk to you.
can you not even repair a computer after graduation?
because I’m not a computer major.
what’s the use of spending so much money on lipstick?
what does it have to do with you? Did I spend your money?
your skirt is so short, how could your mother let you wear it?
what does it have to do with you? Does the law require girls to wear pants?
are all kinds of things that have nothing to do with them…….
elders will care about trivial matters out of their love for their children,
but it is obvious that some of them only ask questions that have nothing to do
with them for the sake of gossip.
is mine. I have my own privacy. I can tell you or choose not to tell you. If
you respect me enough, I should stop asking me some strange questions.
above is what my relatives asked me, but out of courtesy and respect, I didn’t
actually tell them.
